Moments and Memories

Today has been a pretty good day.  Mark and I started are day off the same as always....breakfast together!  In a sense it's so cool to be able to sit with him every morning.  In the past there was so much hustle and bustle...Mark would get up and go off to school.  He always ate his breakfast at school.  The only meal we had together was dinner on most days.  The one thing we have always done is sat down at the end of the day as a family.  On the days that we are all home together, it's just something I love.  If there is conversations great...if not that is fine too...it's just being together!  Now I get to enjoy every meal with Mark....and I love it!  I know he will go back to school and I will work again someday.  Until then I will enjoy every moment we have at that table together.  Just try it...sit at the table not in the living room one meal a day.  You will learn to love the moments and memories you will create.
After we breakfast and medications we had a quick dance party.  Mid dance party we got a phone call that another meal was on it's way (yummy Italian) and, Mark's PT was on her way as well.  So we had to settle down and get ready for our guest.  Mark had a nice long PT session with Chris and her student in training.  While they were over Mark received a delivery from UPS.  He was so excited.  It was a package from Kelly (his bus driver).  She had sent a cookie basket....Mark loved it!  After we opened the package we rushed out the door to come to Boston for Dialysis.  We made it just in time with cookies in hand.  Mark hand delivered the cookies from his baking club to his Nurses.  They loved them.  We then settled in...We had Mark's weight checked, his labs done and hooked up to the dialysis machine.  We have about 45 minutes left as I blog and he has done great!  No sickness at all....just a couple hold ups with some kinks in the tubing...but we will take that!
We can't wait to get home have dinner and maybe have some company tonight:)
Cookie basket Mark received in the mail!
I forgot to mention Mark changed the menu today!  He had 2 English muffins for breakfast, not pancakes.  I was shocked!
